Rushka — Dortmund 2008
Rushka is co-owned
by Charlotte Froon (Kennel Bodasca) and Nadja Drinjakovic (Dogside’s
Wheaten Terriers), both of whom live in the Netherlands. Nadja
owns Mack’s sire – Dogside’s Key to Kilmore.
Rushka has a full, undocked tail, as it is illegal to dock a
dog’s tail in the Netherlands. Many people have never seen
a Wheaten Terrier with an undocked tail. Rushka was sent to live
with us in December of 2006, with the goal of attaining her conformation
championships in both the US and Canada.
Rushka attained her
Canadian Championship in May 2007 with a Group 4 win! She attained
her US Championship in June 2007 with a five point major under
Judge Carolyn Herbel, and a four point major under Judge Richard Bauer.
After Rushka attained her US and Canadian Championships,
we were allowed to keep her here for one breeding. We bred her
to our Mack, and their puppies were born on January 1, 2008!

the litter. Rushka returned to her home in the Netherlands on
March 4, 2008.
I went to the Netherlands to visit Rushka
in October of 2008. I showed her in one dog show in Dortmund, Germany.
Rushka went Best of Opposite, winning a Bundeseiger title.
This win made her Crufts eligible for 2009.
